My WORD.. with the exception of mud, grass and basic facilities, this very small site lacks any and all of the attributes one looks for when selecting somewhere for a relaxing camp. . With the busy A24 to the immediate west.. what can only be described as a pit of DOOM to the north in the form of a disused sand quarry, this site is utterly devoid of joy, happiness, fun and relaxation.. constant Road noise and hemmed in on all sides by roads or industry.. i could not recommend staying here to anyone but my most maligned enemies.Terrible terrible TERRIBLE. .
Lots of room, friendly staff, toilet block and washing up area, all you need for a camping weekend. We were made to feel really at home. The flowers and scenery were lovely. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
First visit and very impressed, lots of space and a great feel to the place. Toilet block adequate for your needs if a little dark inside in the evening as push button lights in the cubicles don't really give you enough time but take a torch and all is good.Didn't take the kids this trip so can't comment on the little river that most were playing in but seemed like fun.Nice Hut by entrance with coffee machine 1.00 and a vending machine for cold drinks,choc and crisps ranging from 1 -2.Plenty of hard standing for caravans etc.Plenty of water taps and bins dotted about the place.Staff really friendly and accommodating.This is a dog friendly site and I'm comfortable with dogs but some people aren't and one or two campers ignoring the dogs on leads policy,not everyone's happy with a huge dog bounding up to them.but all well behaved and didn't notice any poop lying around. Fire pits available but be quick there popular. Have already booked to return,high recommended site.
Absolutely fantastic campsite. We go there as often as we can. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The site is beautiful, clean, great facilities. It's our favourite site.
